Is ESG taking root or on fire?
Taft CEO and managing partner Ted Deutsch recently hosted a webinar discussing the latest trends in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) communications. Organized by PROI Worldwide in collaboration with 3BL Media, the event convened agency leaders worldwide to share global perspectives on how ESG is shaping the business landscape.
PROI is a network of 90 entrepreneurial communications firms in more than 65 countries. Taft was first selected to join PROI in 2022.
Throughout the webinar, participants explored key facets of ESG, including the widespread adoption of sustainability reporting. The discussions underscored the significance of aligning ESG messaging with core organizational strategies for robust internal communication and also spotlighted the intersectionality of issues, emphasizing the crucial role of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in ESG dialogues.
Taft and Deutsch, who is the global chair of PROI’s Global ESG Vertical, are dedicated to fostering dialogue on sustainable practices and advancing the conversation clients have with key stakeholders on ESG-related topics. The recent webinar featured PROI partners from the U.S., U.K., Ghana, Australia, and Brazil. In the U.S., Taft has worked on Corporate Social Responsibility, DEI, and sustainability initiatives for a number of major companies, nonprofits, and education institutions.
