Today’s verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin is an encouraging step in the effort to promote accountability and justice, particularly as it relates to excessive policing.
We as a nation have much work to do to address police reform and dismantle systemic racism. We encourage our partners to continue to speak out against acts of racial violence and create safe spaces for open dialogue.
