- Even successful entrepreneurs and leaders can improve how they communicate.
- Successful fundraising and business development requires explaining purpose in a succinct and compelling way.
- And every leader can benefit from a mentor or coach to refine how they tell their story.
InspireWorksSM — an initiative of Taft Communications in collaboration with Greater Trenton — provides leadership communications training and coaching to nonprofit and small business members of the Greater Trenton community.
InspireWorks aims to unleash the full potential of Trenton nonprofit and small business leaders and expand the pool of “ambassadors” who can tell the story of the city’s resurgence.
The Program
Building on decades of experience sharpening the communications capabilities of clients around the world, Taft (with the engagement of local sponsors) is offering InspireWorks communications workshops and 1:1 coaching for Trenton leaders.
The program will serve two cohorts per year and includes four separate 2-hour communications workshops:
- Delivering your message with presence for greater impact
- Informing and persuading through high-impact writing
- Social media best practices to advance your cause
- Handling media Interviews and communicating through crisis
Each participant will also receive three 90-minute, 1:1 coaching sessions, following completion of the workshops.
The workshops will be held over a four-month period at Taft, which is located in a 100+ year old repurposed Roebling industrial building.
The first cohort launches Fall 2024.
