Don’t shy away from the truth. Be concise and engaging. With only a minute to spend, Taft created an award-winning video that tells a positive story about electrification by weaving in facts from an Acadia Center report about the health, environmental and savings benefits, while also debunking misinformation promoted by the gas industry. To raise awareness among the general public, as well as key stakeholders in the state, the video was promoted on social media and via a small paid advertising campaign, garnering more than 36,000 views. In 2023, Taft was honored with two silver and two bronze Telly Awards as well as two silver W3 Awards for the video.
