Ted doesn’t just drive successful client service and Taft’s overall growth. He also rolls up his sleeves to give the firm’s staff and clients the benefit of nearly 25 years’ experience in corporate communications and public affairs. His imprint is found especially on work with Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, ACADIA, Guerbet and a number of non-profit clients. Before Taft, he was vice president of communications & public affairs for both Sandoz Inc. and Avis Budget Group. Ted has been responsible for media relations, product launches, crisis management and internal communications campaigns. He created an award-winning travel industry communications campaign focused on travelers with disabilities (“Avis Access”) and his pharmaceutical PR experience spans work for a Washington, D.C. public affairs firm and his stint leading communications for biosimilars leader Sandoz. Ted has a bachelor’s degree in history from Princeton University and a master’s in foreign service from Georgetown University, and he trains future business leaders as an instructor in communications in the MBA Program of the Wharton School of Business. He was board president of the Arts Council of Princeton and served on the boards of VolunteerConnect of Mercer County and the marketing board of the Boys and Girls Clubs in New Jersey. Ted was a Lead New Jersey fellow.
