“When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen.” — Ernest Hemingway
Meghan’s inside game is as strong as her outside game. She provides high-level external and internal communication strategies, making sure that — no matter who the audience is — Taft clients’ mission and products are accurately and compellingly portrayed. Meghan serves as the firm’s media relations service lead — if there is a new reporter on a beat or pitching trend to try, she’s in the know. Her experience spans both the local and national media landscapes and has made herself a welcome source of story ideas on behalf of clients. Journalists know she will connect them with thought leaders and that when she “pitches,” it’s worth a listen. Meghan knows that behind every media placement is strategy, that’s why she meticulously develops a communications plan to maximize her client’s success. Oh, and don’t even try to get an unvetted media list past her. While at Taft she’s celebrated strong placements like op-eds in the Philadelphia Inquirer and NJ.com as well as interviews and features in the Philadelphia Business Journal, People and Wired. Over her career, she has worked with clients in technology, education, real estate, healthcare, law, the nonprofit community, and other fields She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Villanova University (and will remind you who won the 2018 NCAA basketball title) and a master’s in science from Pace University.
