Jesseka has her pulse on all things digital and keeps Taft clients on top of the newest trends in X (formerly known as Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn and social media platforms you haven’t heard of yet. A 400% increase in engagement and 10 million impressions for a single event are milestones in Jesseka’s rearview mirror. She led web and social media efforts that helped make ReThink Energy NJ a widely-recognized voice for clean energy issues and stop the unneeded, unsafe PennEast pipeline. When she’s not developing organic and paid social media strategies and creating high-quality posts to implement them, Jesseka runs cross-platform digital ad campaigns and media buys, leads website projects from A to Z, designs infographics, creates blogs, and manages email marketing. With nearly 20 years in digital media, the Pittsburgh native was a journalist at USA Today, Washingtonian and KIWI magazines, and other outlets, covering topics from hard news to entertainment for print, digital, and radio. Jesseka has a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in communications and rhetorical studies and English and a master’s in public policy journalism from American University. She taught multimedia journalism at the University of Delaware.
