Neelu believes self-development is a lifelong journey. She has forged a sustained passion for learning and teaching throughout her 30-year career. Neelu is an expert in healthcare commercialization, strategic communication, and management training. After early stints in investment banking and corporate finance, Neelu found management consulting best fit her innate intellectual curiosity and goal of becoming a trusted strategic partner to her clients. She began her consulting career at Boston Consulting Group and decided to sit at the other side of the table as a marketer at Campbell Soup and Bristol Myers Squibb before returning to consulting. Prior to joining Taft, Neelu helped lead the healthcare vertical at Rosetta, a customer engagement agency, as a partner in the Marketing Strategy and Insights practice. Neelu also serves as a principal at PharmApprove, a previous sister company of Taft, leading C-suite, R&D and Regulatory teams to prepare for high-stakes meetings such as FDA Advisory Committees. Neelu formally applied her mentoring and training skills as a professor of professional practice at Rutgers, where she proposed, developed, and taught a new course on strategic market assessment for the Professional Science Master’s Program, earning top ratings. Neelu has a bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, with concentrations in finance and accounting and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in marketing and management.
