Proud to be the first college grad in her family, Isabel earned a bachelor’s in communications from Kean University with a concentration in public relations. Isabel has worked on political campaigns and is passionate about advancing workers’, immigrant, and civil rights through civic and political engagement as New Jersey representative and Young Leader Council member of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance and also is involved with Professional Filipino American Youth. She came to Taft from Stateside Affairs, where she was digital communications coordinator. In her spare time, Isabel can be found, listening to a wide range of music — from Japanese rock to blues and swing — crafting, and searching thrift shops for vintage 1940s-1970s clothing.
