Kassy’s passion is to make the complex simple in healthcare. She translates the intricacies of diseases, treatments, and processes into language that informs and inspires. Her work spans such therapeutic areas as infectious disease, cancer, mental health, cardiology, obesity, and orthopedics.
Kassy’s experience includes communications and public affairs positions at Johnson & Johnson and Hoffmann-La Roche, and in her own consultancy. During nearly two decades with J&J, she held senior leadership roles and served on the management boards of several pharmaceuticals and medical devices companies in the sectors.
She received the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star and the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry awards. Kassy was donor/public relations chair of the Clinton Township Foundation for Educational Excellence and received the Rolling Hills Girl Scout Council Outstanding Leader Award. She edited the book, “Triumphs of the Human Spirit: Real Cancer Survivors, Real Battles, Real Victories,” and is a certified therapy dog handler who teams up with her yellow Lab, Abby. Kassy holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from West Virginia University.
