  • Strong writing, editing, presentation and research skills
  • Expertise in various social media platforms (primarily Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok), social analytics tools and social media management applications (e.g. HootSuite, Buffer)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in paid media campaigns including strategy development and execution of Google ads and paid social media campaigns
  • Competence in online marketing, web design, web development, CRO and SEO skills and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Strong planning, organizational, time management and task prioritization skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks with a deadline-driven approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Apple operating system
  • Fluency in Photoshop and some ability to edit video with FinalCutPro and/or iMovie would be helpful


This position calls for a high energy, highly creative, team player who is flexible and has a service mentality and a professional demeanor.


  • Serve as day-to-day social media manager for several Taft clients, regularly interacting with clients.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms, Google, and media outlets.
  • Manage Taft agency social media strategy and content.
  • Manage regular updates to the Taft website and participate in its re-design as needed.
  • Compose high quality editorial for social media postings, blogs, and other agency writing projects.
  • Create and populate new social media accounts for Taft and clients when appropriate.
  • Create social media campaigns and provide template social posts for client use, pertaining to specific events and announcements.
  • Conduct social media audits for new clients. Generate strategy briefings on what clients should do to increase their social reach and engagement levels.
  • Measure growth and engagement through social media analytics. Create regular assessment reports for clients, including suggestions on how to optimize their approach.
  • Help determine personal-brand hashtags for client use.
  • Design, or interact with designers, to execute graphics, web cards, infographics, quotes, profile designs, and other visual elements for sharing on various social platforms.
  • Live tweeting and/or drafting a timed script for client events.
  • Monitor trending news stories and hashtags for potential client involvement.


Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism with 5 -7 years of experience as a social media coordinator or manager with a track record of success.

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 yearly
